Case Background (Anonymous)

- Primary use case: The living room is 8 square meters, where you can watch movies and occasionally listen to music. Put a set of play one in the audio room (it has been with me for N years)

How They Got In and Why They Chose Sonos
Section titled “How They Got In and Why They Chose Sonos”- Entry point: Many years ago, I was amazed when I heard one at my friend’s house. Two of them make up a stereo, which is even better. Simple appearance and easy to use! There’s not a bunch of cables and equipment that some have or don’t have.
- Cross-brand comparison: I have heard of BXXS, Yamaxx, Klipxxx. Then I felt dissatisfied. The next step is to consider the texture of the entity. I didn’t think too much about choosing sonos (I can’t say it’s cheap, but after using it overall, it’s worth the money)
- One line for beginners: The space is ready, the complete set can be loaded directly
Room Setup and Tuning
Section titled “Room Setup and Tuning”- Placement and constraints: Anyway, you can mix and match freely, just like playing with Lego. Different positions and Trueplay can help you find your favorite combination. I have tried placing it on a shelf, using a speaker stand, and placing it on the floor. Set one, two, four, or place them in different rooms so that there is music everywhere. High flexibility. The difficulty encountered is probably lack of space.
- Trueplay feedback: Of course it has to be Trueplay. There is also a difference between recommended adjustments and fine adjustments. Closing a window should be different than opening it. It is recommended to do TP in the situations you use most often. The layering and saturation are both satisfactory (no standing wave problems so far)
- Subwoofer decision: After knowing the difference of subwoofer, it is quite intuitive to add
Day-to-Day Experience
Section titled “Day-to-Day Experience”- What they like most about Sonos: Simple, high-quality audio and video enjoyment. Buy all the way and test all the way, keep stacking and playing new tricks
- Who likes Sonos the most at home: I
- Mistaken for other gear: My entire set is white. Only the floor-standing SUB is available in black piano grille to match the decoration. If matched well, it can be integrated into home decoration.
Pain Points and Wishlist
Section titled “Pain Points and Wishlist”- Most frustrating issue: previous app. The American version and the Japanese version are sometimes funny when they are combined into a complete set.
- Feature request: Sonos sequencer is directly listed in the official app setting. Make the operation interface more intuitive and simple, and you can adjust different combinations at any time
Test Content and Preferences
Section titled “Test Content and Preferences”- Music used for testing: Large dynamic/ACG is fine. If you are in a good mood, every song is suitable
- Movies used for testing: Keanu Reeves shooting like crazy is great
Additional Notes
Section titled “Additional Notes”- Animal analogy for Sonos: elephant. Just one can hold the whole place
- Most absurd thing they did: I want to buy all the product lines and compare them.
- Dream setup if budget was unlimited: The complete set is actually quite enough! The rest is to buy a bigger house XD
- Final note: Taiwan is not easy to hear, but once you use it, you can’t go back. For the Sound Blaster system, you don’t need to pay too much attention to the product cycle. If you look at each product line individually, they are all excellent (cheap second-hand ones can be purchased almost without thinking)
- Top-ranked device: Era 300. It’s no problem to listen to music, and it’s no problem to use surround back for movies, and there is a sky channel. It can be Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. Put it all together and it’s up to you to be rich and frugal (Amazon JP Shop)
